Tools Needed:

The tools needed will vary somewhat depending on the route taken, but I'll give you a rough idea of the tools I used, most of which I had already accumulated while doing general repair on the B.

Engine tools

Air compressor and pneumatic tools (I have one and never use it, as it is just  too loud, you won't have to have one for the conversion)

For welding. I decided to teach myself how to weld, as I thought this would be a handy thing to know, and the welder wasn't that expensive. I bought the least expensive MIG welder I could find, a $310 Campbell Hausfeld welder. I've found that with a little practice I can make satisfactory welds that are useable for the conversion. It'll take some more practice before I'd tackle external panel repairs and such.
